Introduced in 1961, the Third Generation Thunderbird quickly drew the nickname of the “Bullet Bird.” When you look at the car in profile, it is easy to see why. Alternatively, the buyer could retain it as-is and drive it with pride as a genuine survivor. It isn’t perfect, but getting it to that point would not be complicated or expensive. Not only is it an original and unrestored classic, but it has been part of the same family its entire life. That makes this 1961 Ford Thunderbird a vehicle that ticks the right boxes for me.
